I was going to scout good espresso in New Orleans. Remember?
Then the idea: maybe I need to get a little experience with pulling my own shots. Different beans, different technique. Good shots, bad shots. Get some of that under my belt and become more competent to judge others.
It’s one Rancilio Silvia espresso machine later and I have to say that I am getting my experience for sure. I have had some bad shots and a few very good ones. The process of arriving at the good ones is still mostly luck. But, I am ready to resume the quest.
New Orleans is a place for enjoying things and we think coffee is as good a thing to enjoy as any. Lets get together and take a look at enjoying coffee in the Crescent City
